Lindsay Pestinger awarded PRSA Kansas executive of the year
WICHITA, Kan. (May 27, 2010) — Jajo account executive Lindsay Pestinger was honored as the Executive of the Year by the Kansas Chapter of PRSA. The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is the largest organization of public relations professionals, with 100 of chapters nationwide. The award recognizes an executive who best understands and uses public relations as a primary management tool in directing their organization. Pestinger, who served as president of Wichita Advertising Federation in 2009-2010, was presented with the award during the PRSA Kansas annual Clarus Awards at the Warren Old Town Theater.
Pestinger was nominated and selected for using components of public relations to successfully lead and energize members of Wichita Advertising Federation. Early in her tenure as President, Lindsay emphasized internal relations as a means for improving loyalty among members, and to encourage participation at industry speaking events to foster club growth.
