Jajo tells Heartspring story
WICHITA, Kan. (May 18, 2010) —Culminating over a year of special events surrounding its 75th Anniversary, Heartspring hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, May 18 at 10:00 am to dedicate a new history wall complete with photographs and milestones from its legacy - all design donated by Jajo.
The purpose of the celebratory wall is to recognize the therapists, educators, administrators, special guests and most importantly, the children that Heartspring has helped, both past and present. Student artwork accompanies the landscape, complete with three-dimensional clouds that serve as milestones in Heartspring history. The design, with elements sourced and installed thanks to Miracle Signs, provides a safe, tactile experience for the students to enjoy.
“It is important that we not forget where we came from as we look to the future of helping children with special needs,” said Dr. Gary Singleton, Heartspring president and CEO. “This wall reminds us of the thousands of children who have received vital education, therapies and care, as well as the committed specialists who have been dedicated to each child’s success.”
