Jajo Inc. promotes Berk to account service director
WICHITA, Kan. (May 26, 2008) — Jajo Inc. named Jolynn Berk head of Account Service. Berk most recently served as Account Service Manager at Jajo.
In her new role, Berk is focused on client relationships, project management and developing new business opportunities and partnerships. While she will serve all Jajo clients, her primary responsibilities lie in supporting and growing new relationships. Berk retains her seat on the agency leadership team, Jajo’s first female to hold such a post.
“This promotion was a no-brainer,” said Steve Randa, Jajo managing partner. “Jolynn gets results. She knows how to develop client relationships while keeping a sharp eye on profitability. She is a strategic thinker and doesn’t waste time getting to the heart of a client’s business problem and finding a solution.”
Berk’s 14-year career in marketing communications encompasses agency positions at Koch Industries and Sullivan Higdon & Sink. During eight years at SHS, she served as liaison between the agency and its clients, including Cessna Aircraft Company, B/E Aerospace, National Air Transportation Association, Lycoming Engines and Rockwell Collins – to name a few. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Newman University for integrated marketing communications. Berk is a graduate of Friends University and a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
Berk is most passionate about her faith and her family. According to Berk, what else is really that important in the grand scheme of things … except maybe chocolate? She feels strongly about finding ways to give back, including Spirit of Giving, being and education advocate and adopting a foster child. She keeps in touch with family and friends by e-mail or through her blog, and her favorite place in the world is Table Rock Lake. Does she go there in her free time? The working mother, wife and advocate laughs when asked. Free time? Not in her world.
