GROW report grows gold honors for Jajo
WICHITA, Kan. (April 15, 2011) — The Council on Foundations recognized the Kansas Health Foundation (KHF) with gold honors through the Wilmer Shields Rich Awards for its Giving Resources to Our World (GROW) Report, released in July 2010. KHF and its partner Jajo Inc. collaborated to create a reflection on the foundation’s decade-long community organization initiative.
The Wilmer Shields Rich Awards for Excellence in Communications celebrates outstanding communications throughout America’s philanthropic community. Recipients are commended for using the right vehicle and the right message at the right time to encourage others to think and act in ways that support their foundations’ missions. KHF learned of its gold recognition in the Special Reports category for independent, family and operating foundations with assets more the $250 million at the Council’s annual conference in Philadelphia, Pa. on April 11, 2011. Vice President for Communication Christopher Power accepted the award on behalf of KHF.
